Welcome to SiteCraft Design. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and the web design services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
SiteCraft Design is a UK-based web design business providing website design, redesign, branding assistance and related digital services.
Throughout these Terms:

"SiteCraft Design", "we", "our" or "us" refers to SiteCraft Design.

"Client", "you" or "your" refers to the individual or business purchasing our services.
2. Our Services
We provide services including, but not limited to:

Website Design
-
Website Redesign
-
Landing Pages
-
Wix Website Development
-
Mobile Optimisation
-
Basic SEO Setup
-
Website Maintenance (where agreed)

The exact scope of each project will be outlined within the quotation provided.
3. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
A project is only confirmed once:
-
the quotation has been accepted; and
-
the required deposit has been received.
4. Payments
Unless agreed otherwise:
-
A 60% deposit is required before work begins.
-
The remaining 40% balance is payable before the completed website is published or handed over.
Work may be paused if invoices remain unpaid.
Late payments may delay project completion.
5. Project Timelines
Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith.
Project timescales depend upon:
-
prompt client communication;
-
receiving all required content;
-
timely approval of designs.
SiteCraft Design cannot be responsible for delays caused by missing client information or third parties.
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to provide:
-
text content;
-
logos;
-
photographs;
-
branding assets;
-
account access (where required);
-
any information reasonably required to complete the project.
The Client confirms they own or have permission to use all supplied content.
7. Revisions
Unless otherwise stated, all website projects include:
Two rounds of design revisions.
Additional revisions or requests outside the agreed project scope may incur additional charges.
8. Additional Work
Any work requested beyond the original quotation may be quoted separately.
This includes, but is not limited to:
-
additional pages;
-
extra functionality;
-
copywriting;
-
photography;
-
logo design;
-
extensive redesign requests.
9. Hosting & Domains
Unless otherwise agreed:
-
website hosting is purchased directly by the Client;
-
domain names remain the property of the Client;
-
SiteCraft Design does not accept responsibility for third-party hosting services.
Where SiteCraft Design assists with setup, the Client remains responsible for ongoing hosting and domain renewal fees.
10. Ownership
The Client receives full rights to use the completed website upon payment in full. SiteCraft Design reserves the right to suspend work and withhold completion, publication, delivery of remaining assets, documentation, or agreed post-launch services until all outstanding invoices have been paid.
11. Cancellation
The Client may cancel the project at any time.
If work has already begun:

deposits are non-refundable;
-
completed work up to the cancellation date may be invoiced.
SiteCraft Design reserves the right to cancel a project where communication breaks down, abusive behaviour occurs, or invoices remain unpaid.
12. Refunds
Due to the bespoke nature of web design services, refunds are generally not available once work has commenced.
Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless supplied by the Client:

design concepts;
-
graphics;
-
layouts;
-
written materials;
-
and other creative assets
remain the intellectual property of SiteCraft Design until paid for in full.
The Client retains ownership of all content supplied by them.
14. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and reliability, SiteCraft Design shall not be liable for:

business interruption;
-
loss of profits;
-
loss of data;
-
indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under English law.
15. Third-Party Services
Projects may include third-party platforms including:

Wix
-
Google
-
Meta
-
Domain Registrars
-
Payment Providers
SiteCraft Design is not responsible for outages, pricing changes or policy changes made by third-party providers.
16. Website Availability
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of any website due to maintenance, hosting issues or events beyond our control.
17. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
